Hi, my name is Dakota Denison. Welcome to my website!
I currently work at mdrc, a social policy research firm, as a statistical programmer. Generally, my responsibilities include data cleaning, running regressions and hierarchical models, and presenting the results for several K-12 education programs. In the past, I worked on and studied economics and math at the University of Michigan.
In my spare time, I enjoy working at the intersection of data science and software engineering. Past projects include data science competitions, Elo rating app for NCAA basketball, investment strategies, and a live jazz calendar web app.
